What's DEPRECIATION?

Shehab is a young dentist who decided to start his own business. He had enough money to make a dental clinic. The clinic was well-equipped, the location was nice, and Shehab is a skilled dentist. So, the business was profitable. Years passed by and Dr. Shehab was working happily, he bought a new car as well.

Then one day -about five years since starting his business- the dental unit got wrecked, and the maintenance report showed that it needs a fortune for repair. Shehab got shocked upon hearing this, and he phoned his friend Sherif to ask him if he has an opinion about how to handle such a crisis. Sherif got astonished that Shehab didn't take DEPRECIATION into consideration, and that he used to spend all the income through the past years.

What's DEPRECIATION?

Depreciation is an amount of the income that should be retained and not considered as profit.

 Why? 

Because every asset (equipment, furniture,..etc.) has a life expectancy after which it will not be useful, and a new one will be purchased. The amount of money retained as depreciation will be used to buy this new asset.

How is an asset depreciated?

This depends on the life expectancy of the asset. A building is depreciated over 10 years, furniture and equipment are depreciated over 5 years. However, each business is free to depreciate each asset according to its life expectancy in this industry. As a rule, the only asset that is not depreciated is land.

A PDF file is not a text 😲

A PDF file, photos, and videos are not considered texts. This means that they can not be edited or properly seen in a text editor. They need specific programs to play them.

How can you open an HTML file?

You can do that by using a text editor (like Atom and VS Code) or simply by using your web browser.

Writing your first text file

Let's start step-by-step learning HTML. Are you ready? 😉

1. Install a text editor: there are many text editors (like Atom and VS Code). Do not use a word processor.
2. Open a new file.
3. Start writing. Write some text like (my first note).
4. Save the file. Save it at the location you want. Give it a name followed by .html. Don't forget that. You can name it file.html
5. Open the file. You can open it by double-clicking the file it will open in a web browser. Also, you can directly drag it to your web browser.
6. See your writing. You will see your text (my first note) on the browser. Congratulations! 👏💪

الآنسة أ. ر. مريضة تبلغ من العمر 20 عامًا من اليمن.

كانت تعاني من الصرع لفترة طويلة.

هل تعلمون ماذا يعني ذلك بالنسبة للأنثى في ذلك العمر؟

إنها تسقط بين الحين والآخر متشنجة بغض النظر عن الوضع المحيط.

تبرز منصاته سعادة المرضى المتعافين في صور إنستجرام وفيسبوك وتويتر. يعد ذلك أمرا مشجعا وباعثا على الأمل والتفاؤل. إن إشراك المشاعر طريقة ممتازة لجذب الجماهير.

إلى جانب ذلك ، هناك خدمة عملاء جيدة تتيح التواصل مع رسائل صفحة فيسبوك التي تمنح المرضى وأقاربهم مزيدًا من الثقة وتوفر المعلومات التي يحتاجون إليها.

I. R. is a female patient 20-year-old from Yemen.

She has been suffering from epilepsy for a long time.

Do you know what does it mean for a female at that age?

She falls every now and then convulsing irrespective of the surrounding situation.

She has been receiving multiple medications to control seizures without any recognizable response.

In contrast seizure violence has been increasing over time. Violent convulsions are becoming more and more many times on the same day.

Everyone settled their mind and decided to travel to see the doctor. She had surgery, which passed safely.

After the surgical operation, she reduced the medications she needs on daily basis. Violent seizures disappeared.

The YouTube channel contains about 100 videos with approximately 1M views. 11K subscriber is fine for a specialized health education channel. Videos have been published consistently. They have attractive titles and well-structured content.

The campaign features the happiness of cured patients in Instagram photos, Facebook, and Twitter platforms. This is really encouraging and hopeful. Involving emotions is an excellent way to attract audiences.

Besides, there is good customer service which allows communication with the Facebook page messages that give patients and their relatives more trust and provide the information they need.
